Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Will Green, a dedicated member of our Accounts team, who started as an apprentice and has thrived in his role.
From Apprentice to Key Team Member
After finishing college, Will knew he wanted a career in business and finance. With a passion for numbers and problem-solving, he chose an AAT apprenticeship over university—allowing him to gain hands-on experience while earning his qualifications.
Since joining TW, Will has:
✅ Completed AAT Levels 2 & 3 and is now working towards AAT Level 4
✅ Gained real-world experience by preparing financial statements and advising clients
✅ Built confidence in handling financial queries through direct client interactions
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
As part of the Accounts team, Will works closely with clients—whether it’s over the phone, by email, or in person—helping them navigate financial processes. His day-to-day responsibilities include:
✔ Preparing financial statements and ensuring all records are accurate
✔ Answering client queries related to tax and accounts
✔ Ensuring businesses stay compliant with financial regulations
Key Skills Gained Through His Apprenticeship
Beyond technical expertise, Will’s apprenticeship has helped him develop essential soft skills, including:
