In a heart-pounding display of bravery and community spirit, Meg Smith and Bryndley (Bryn) Jones of Thorne Widgery successfully completed their skydive in support of St Michael’s Hospice in August.
The daring duo leapt from the skies as part of the St Michael’s Hospice Team Skydive Day, all in the name of charity.
We’re thrilled to announce that not only did Meg and Bryn take the leap, but thanks to the incredible support from colleagues, clients, and the community, we’ve surpassed our fundraising goal, raising an astounding £1,127!
Every penny of this will go directly towards supporting St Michael’s Hospice and the vital services it provides to individuals in need of care, pain relief, and emotional support.
Meg and Bryn were buzzing with excitement after the event. “The skydive was such an amazing experience, and to know that we’ve raised so much for such a wonderful charity makes it all the more worthwhile,” said Meg.
“St Michael’s Hospice is a cornerstone of the Herefordshire community, and we’re honoured to have contributed to its important work.”
St Michael’s Hospice plays a crucial role in the local area, offering compassionate care to patients during their most challenging times. The funds raised will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who rely on the hospice’s services.
This charitable feat underscores Thorne Widgery’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to giving back to the local community.
We’re incredibly proud of Meg and Bryn, and we want to extend huge congratulations and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported their sky-high adventure.
