A team of intrepid walkers from across our offices have completed a 26-mile walk through the Clun Valley in Shropshire to raise £2,099 for the amazing Be More Frank charitable fund!
Our entire team were inspired by the story behind Be More Frank, after Emma, Frank’s mum, got in touch with us at the start of the year.
This amazing cause was founded was set up in honour of Frank who sadly passed away at the age of 13 from a rare bone cancer.
After hearing what a little fighter Frank was and the incredible work Be More Frank does for other families choose them as our charity for 2023 and set out to raise money with our charity walk.
Our team consisted of Lizzie Roberts, Hannah Forsbrook, Hannah Ayres and Connor Easdale who surpassed their initial target of £2,000 for this incredible local charity.
The funds raised in Frank’s name will provide financial assistance to families with a child who is diagnosed with cancer in Herefordshire, Powys, Monmouthshire, Worcestershire & Gloucestershire.
Along with raising money for Be More Frank, the registration money goes towards St George’s Primary School in Clun.
The money will be used to help towards extra resources for the children’s education including more books, updating IT systems, sports equipment and educational trips.
Our Marketing Manager, Hannah Forsbrook, said: “We had a great time exploring the peaks of the Clun Valley and were really driven by the amazing donations made for this fundraising challenge.
“We are delighted to be able to make a donation of more than £2,000 to this amazing charitable fund.”
Although we beat our original target, you can still donate to this cause by clicking here.
Thanks again to all of those who supported us.
