Hereford and Ludlow accountants Thorne Widgery are hosting a charity preview evening ahead of the world-famous Cheltenham Festival this year in aid of MIND.
Hosted from 7pm at Ludlow racecourse on 13th March, guests will get to hear insight from an expert panel ahead of this years festival.
The event is the brainchild of Thorne Widgery’s own horse racing aficionado and accountant, Ben Morgan, and will feature special guests including racehorse trainer, Alastair Ralph, jockeys, Nick Scholfield, Richard Patrick & Stan Sheppard plus bloodstock agent, Ed Bailey.
All money raised from the event will be donated to MIND. This national mental health charity offers support to a wide range of people across Herefordshire and Shropshire to help them manage and overcome wellbeing issues.
Speaking ahead of the preview, Ben said: “This event promises to be a great night out and will be full of helpful information about the upcoming Cheltenham Festival from leading experts and pundits.”
The Cheltenham Festival itself kicks off on Tuesday, 15 March and promises to be one of the biggest events in this year’s horse racing calendar.
