Thorne Widgery team grows again with new appointments - Thorne Widgery

Welcome to our new recruits

We are excited to announce that we have taken on a raft of junior staff members, as we look to further expand our team and services.

We recently welcomed Isobel Schofield, Sam Edwards, Liam Morgan, Joseph Banks and Stephanie Farr to our team.

Isobel and Joseph both come to us as AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) trainees, as they take the first step in their professional career. They will support our wider accounts and audit team, who work with a wide range of local businesses.

Meanwhile, Liam joins us from university, where he completed a degree in Business Management & Accounting and Finance. He will now undertake the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification, alongside his day-to-day work within our accounts and audit team.

With a growing demand for our payroll services, we have also recruited Sam as a Payroll Assistant. He is proud to be part of a successful and forward-thinking company and is looking forward to getting stuck in with the payroll department to keep everything running smoothly.

The final appointment, Stephanie, comes to the practice as a Bookkeeper with lots of previous experience in the agricultural and rural sectors. She is looking forward to broadening her expertise with the firm in her new role.

Stephanie is already ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) and AAT qualified, ensuring she can provide a wide range of bookkeeping services to businesses and individuals.

Welcoming the new recruits our CEO, Daniel Crowther, said: “It is really exciting to see so many new people joining our practice at this time. Demand for our services and advice continues to increase, as clients and new businesses turn to us for support during this uncertain period.

“The recruitment of these new trainees and other professionals is an indication of our ongoing mission to help people from all walks of life to enter our profession and we are so delighted that they are joining us.”
