Staff and Directors at innovative accountancy firm, Thorne Widgery, are celebrating after being named as a finalist at the Herefordshire Business Awards.
Shortlisted in the Professional Services Business of the Year category, the Hereford and Ludlow-based firm has been chosen as a finalist by the judges for its forward-thinking approach and its delivery of high-quality services to clients.
Its entry, based upon the firm’s success in the last year, highlighted its work with schools in the region and around the UK, the opening of its new office in Ludlow and its ongoing expansion, which is being driven in part by its modern approach to the provision of professional services.
Thorne Widgery’s Managing Director, Stephen Smallwood, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted at the Herefordshire Business Awards. It is a real honour and a reflection of the fantastic work that our team does for businesses and individuals in the region.
“The professional service sector is extremely competitive and so to be shortlisted alongside some of Herefordshire’s leading firms and advisors in this category is a great achievement.”
Thorne Widgery will find out if it has won the award at a ceremony due to be held on Friday 5 October at the Three Counties Hotel in Hereford.
