Thorne Widgery is in the running to win second British Accountancy Award

Innovative accountancy firm, Thorne Widgery, is excited to announce that it has been shortlisted at the 2019 British Accountancy Awards.

One of the most prestigious accolades in the profession, the British Accountancy Awards recognise the UK’s very best firms and individuals.

Hereford-based Thorne Widgery has been selected as a finalist for the Independent Firm of the Year: Wales and Midlands category at this year’s ceremony, after judges recognised its fast growth, excellent services and commitment to helping its clients.

Daniel Crowther, Director at Thorne Widgery, said: “We are delighted to be a finalist for Wales and the Midlands at this year’s British Accountancy Awards; it is a real honour.

“Our team has worked exceptionally hard in the last 12 months and so this recognition for the services that they provide to businesses and individuals in the region is much welcomed.”

Last year, Thorne Widgery won the Small Firm Innovation of the Year category at the British Accountancy Awards and has already been shortlisted this year for the equally prestigious Accounting Excellence Awards.

“We are extremely proud of our achievements over the last few years and it is nice that we are receiving recognition for the work that we do and for our innovative approach to the tax, accountancy and business advice services that we deliver,” added Daniel.

The team at Thorne Widgery will find out if it has won a British Accountancy Award at a special gala event due to be held on 25 September at Grosvenor House in Park Lane, London.
