Local pupils to enter the Dragons Den

Calling all future dragons

At this difficult time, we wanted to give something back to the local community and schools. That is why we are launching ‘Future Dragons’ a Junior Dragons Den style competition for any school age children.

We already have several local businesses onboard to support this project, which will include a series of online video sessions taking children through the development of a business concept to planning for a business launch.

This project will end in a finale, where children can present an online pitch and business plan to ‘The Dragons’ for a chance to win prizes.

Those with the best ideas may even get potential mentorship and investment to bring their business concepts to life in the real world.

We are currently lining up local schools that may wish to take part in this initiative and we hope to share more news with you soon.

Speaking about the project our CEO, Daniel Crowther, said: “We are all excited about this competition, which should offer a little relief from the events of the past year.

“We have already managed to secure the support of some fantastic local companies, who want to help us launch this project and we can’t wait to get started.”
