The Ludlow office of innovative accountancy firm, Thorne Widgery, is delighted to welcome James Clifford as their new office manager, as it celebrates its third year in practice in the town.
Opened to much fanfare three years ago, Thorne Widgery has built strong connections across Shropshire via this new hub.
Founded with the help of the firm’s CEO Daniel Crowther – who is a Ludlow local himself – the office has continued to go from strength to strength.
The appointment of James, an experienced accountant who shares the same forward-thinking approach as the rest of the firm, will further help to cement Thorne Widgery’s position in the region.
He comes to the practice from a firm in the Black Country but has many local connections to Ludlow and the surrounding area.
Speaking about his appointment, James said: “I am excited to be a part of Thorne Widgery. With a reputation for innovation and client care, they are the perfect fit for me.
“I hope in my new role I can continue to grow and strengthen our operations in Ludlow.”
A Certified Xero Adviser and holder of the prestigious ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) accreditation, James is the perfect fit for Thorne Widgery’s Ludlow team.
Daniel Crowther added: “I can’t believe it has only been three years since we opened our Ludlow office. So much has changed in this time and we have been blown away by the local support we continue to receive.
“It’s great that we have James joining us and I would like to wish him the best of luck as he builds new, lasting relationships with clients and contacts across Shropshire.”
